Yesterday we split our group into two groups to go and do two different service projects. The first group stayed at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and helped move food from one room to another for the church's backpack buddies program that provides kids with food for the weekend and Summer. We also cleaned the windows of the church. The second group went to Wendy's house, a member of the church, to help with her yard work. They raked away leaves, rearranged things, and cleaned her yard. It was a great day of working. Last nights performance may have had a small crowd but we performed really well. After our performance there was an ice cream social with us winers and the people who came and watched. It was a great time.
This morning we were once again woken up by Todd playing the piano, people got upset because Todd changed the song that he played to wake us up. Then we ate breakfast and packed all of our stuff up. We then left Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. On our way out of Tybee Island we stopped at the Tybee Island Historical Society lighthouse. At the lighthouse we were able to walk to the top of the lighthouse and look around at the ocean. Everybody ended up making it to the top and looking around, even the people afraid of heights. After the lighthouse we got back into the vans and started back on our way to Woodstock. We drove for a while and then around one o'clock we stopped and got Lunch. We ended up getting fast food and we ate our lunch in the car. Now, we are driving to Woodstock for our performance tonight.
